Today: Southwest 25 knots gusting 35 knots, easing to 20 knots early morning, and to 10 knots by midday. Becoming northerly 15 knots this afternoon, rising to 20 knots early evening. Rough sea easing early morning. Poor visibility in showers, clearing early morning and becoming fine. For the South Coast and Palliser Bay: Southerly swell 4 metres, gradually easing to 2.5 metres. For Castlepoint: Southerly swell 4 metres, gradually easing to 3 metres.

Tuesday: Northerly 15 knots, dying away in the morning. Fine. For the South Coast and Palliser Bay: Southerly swell 2.5 metres. For Castlepoint: Southerly swell 3 metres.

Wednesday: Northwest 15 knots developing, then changing southerly 20 knots. Showers developing in the afternoon. For the South Coast and Palliser Bay: Southerly swell rising to 4.5 metres. For Castlepoint: Southerly swell rising to 5 metres.

Thursday: Southeast 15 knots. Cloudy with a few showers. For the South Coast and Palliser Bay: Southerly swell easing to 3 metres. For Castlepoint: Southerly swell easing to 4 metres.
