Today: Southeast 10 knots, changing northeast 15 knots in the afternoon. Northeast rising to 20 knots west of Motiti Island in the evening. Sea becoming moderate west of Motiti Island in the evening. Cloud increasing. Poor visibility in rain developing late evening. Northeast swell 1 metre.

Friday: Northerly 15 knots but 20 knots west of Motiti Island, rising to 25 knots everywhere early morning. Changing northwest 20 knots in the afternoon. Rain, with heavy falls. Easing to a few showers in the afternoon. Northerly swell rising to 2.5 metres, easing to 2 metres late.

Saturday: Easing to westerly 15 knots. A few showers. Northerly swell easing to 1.5 metres.

Sunday: Becoming variable 5 knots early. Northeast 10 knots developing late. Fine spells and one or two showers, cloud increasing later. Northerly swell easing 1 metre.
