Surfing
New
Zealand
is
inviting
expressions
of
interest
to
join
our
newly
established Athlete
Advisory
Group.
The
Group
exists
to
bring
independent,
athlete-informed
perspectives
directly
to
the
Surfing
New
Zealand
Board
and
leadership,
ensuring
the
voices
of
current
and
former
athletes
are
clear
in
decision-making
across
all
areas
of
athlete
experience.
We’re
looking
for
athletes
who
are
keen
to
grow
their
leadership
skills,
contribute
meaningful
insights,
and
help
drive
real
change
within
our
sport.
The
Group
will
be
made
of
five
to
seven
members,
including
an
elected
Chairperson,
and
will
meet
a
minimum
of
four
times
per
year.
A
Surfing
New
Zealand
Board
member
and
management
representative
will
also
attend
meetings.
We’re
aiming
to
form
a
group
that
reflects
the
full
breadth
of
the
Competitive
Surfing
NZ
community,
with
members
drawn
from
across:

National
and
regional
levels -
Junior
and
development
pathways -
High
performance
and
international
representation

meeting
will
be
held
at
7pm
on
Tuesday
7
July.
