Offshore Westerly wind at the Coast beaches where there is 2 ft at Wainui, 2-3 ft at Okitu and Makorori. The wind is cross-shore at Town beach which has 2 ft with some cross-chop. The wind is expected to swing more SW later in the morning so hit it early. Forecast is for SW 35 knots, easing to 20 knots during the morning.
