This years event should be the best in years with SOL beer sponsoring the event and the Open mens division.
This year should see some great competition with some big names in NZ surfing looking at attending including Luke Cederman, Tim O'conner alongside some soouth island favourite and past winner Hayden Brain alongside local favourites Felix Dickson, Danny Carse, Luke Murphy & Lyndon Hutton.
The Esplanade Open Womens with Local Favourite Hayley Coakes sure to impress and Daisy Thomas from Christchurch who is currently living in Dunedin.
Rip Curl are sponsors of the Under20 Junior Mens Division and you will be able to check out Live action from The Rip Curl world Tour event at Bells Beach in Australia as this also takes place over Easter Weekend and will be broadcast live inside the South Coast Boardriders Club rooms for anyone to enjoy.
