The Quiksilver ISA World Juniors Surfing Championship needs approximately 200 volunteers to help operate the contest from Wednesday 20 - Thursday 28 January 2010. Your help is essential in the day to day duties required to run both the surf contest and general hosting activities.

The International Surfing Association is bringing the World Juniors Surfing Championship to New Zealand. Over 200 of the world's best young surfers will be competing for the under 18's title of World Champion at N.Z's infamous surf spot Piha.

A range of volunteer roles are available, these include; surf contest operators, language specific team liaisons, catering and hospitality hosts, security officers, infrastructure assistants, drivers, VIP chaperones and many more. All volunteers will receive a Quiksilver Event T-Shirt and accreditation bracelet to identify you as an event official. You will also receive certification in recognition of your role.

If you are interested in gaining some new skills and developing your event based experience please write to volunteers@nzsponsorship.co.nz. Include in your application your; employment history, work experience and the areas you would like to be involved. We will then contact you to action the next step.

With your help we can create a world class event and raise the profile of New Zealand as a host for future international events.
