This years SurfFest went off, with screenings in Auckland, Whakatane, New Plymouth, Wellington, Gisborne and Dunedin with films from surfers all over the country. SurfFest aims to show a local perspective on surfing here in Aotearoa, and gets amateur film makers honing their camera skills too.SurfFest included epic surfing from river mouths in the Hawkes Bay to a family surf trip in Otago.

This year winning film came from 1st: Ted Whitaker (Dunedin) - 'Sea Dog Fictional'
