Good afternoon %%First Name%%,

It's Quarter Finals time at the RWC and even though the AB's are dropping like flies thru injuries we are still able to front a super strong team that will bring it home! Go the mighty All Blacks!!!!

West Coast will have the most this weekend with a solid 4ft of SW ground swell kicking in Sat and the onshore winds from the SW backing off and clocking perfect offshores, possibly by Sat arvo and definitely for a super fun Sunday sesh! Small easing East swell out East with offshore winds from the SW today. Flat for most out East this weekend with a small 2ft of low period SSW swell coming and going with the wind! Check into the weekend surf outlook to see what's cracking!

The Oakley World Pro Junior Bali is up and running again at Keramas. The surf is 3-4ft and super clean. Sarah Mason is on stand-by and in Rd3 up against Gabriela Leite. Check it out LIVE this afternoon.

'Surfer Paddle Out' on the 16th of October 2011 at Dunedins' Aramoana, Whareakeake and Karitane surf breaks. Port Otago Ltd, is seeking a coastal permit to dispose dredged material offshore, which could have disastrous effects on the breaks. This is also a national event, organised by Surfbreak Protection Society where there will also be simultaneous paddle outs being held that day at many of the other 26 protected surf breaks the length and breadth of New Zealand, as well as popular surf breaks in city areas.

Let's hope the government can pull it's finger out and get onto extracting the fuel from the stranded ship 'The Rena' before the possibility of it breaking up! Environment Minister Nick Smith said the spill from the ship "had the potential to be New Zealand's most significant maritime pollution disaster in decades".

Hangin loose in da juice!
