Surf Schools, Bay of Plenty

The ECP SUP school is a mobile school and travel throughout the Bay of Plenty region and surrounding areas to paddle the best spots.

During the summer months you can find our team down at Pilot Bay, a beautiful sheltered bay perfect for your beginner lesson.

Our experienced SUP instructors also do SUPSurfing lessons from Leisure Island along the Coast to Banks Ave, Mount Maunganui. If the weather conditions aren’t too flash we find a suitable spot to ensure you get the best possible start to your SUP experience.

Come surfing with us. We’ll teach you how to surf and introduce you to the freedom, thrill and stoke of riding waves. Discovery provides professional surf coaching for all ages and abilities, from beginners to experienced surfers. We are a New Zealand Surfing Association accredited school and all our instructors are qualified lifeguards. We supply the surfboards and the wetsuits. All you need to do is come surfing.
