Isobar Surf School has a range of packages from two hours, up to five days. Lessons, all equipment, great food, and accommodation are included. Suits learners and absolute beginners. Tim and all of his coaches have NZ Surfing Level 1 and First Aid Qualifications and are fully endorsed by Surfing NZ and Water Safety NZ. Aotearoa Surf is recommended by both Surfing NZ and Water Safety NZ and offers surf lessons and coaching from internationally recognised surf coach Wayne Glover who has over 40 years surfing experience. Based at Te Arai just south of Mangawhai in the Auckland region and fully mobile, lessons can be provided anywhere between Orewa and Ruakaka or on the West Coast. Transport can be provided. Wayne will tailor the lessons and coaching to get you up and riding quickly and enjoying the surfing experience. Or for those more experienced, help you fine tune your technique to get even more enjoyment out of your time in the water. Surfboard and wetsuit hire included in lesson cost. Discovery Surf School is located in Mount Maunganui, Bay Of Plenty, New Zealand.

Mark, originally from California, has 38 years surfing experience and holds Surf NZ Coaching Level 1, Surf Lifesaving and First Aid certificates. Our specialty is customizing surf or ski tours to suit you and your level of experience. Overseas visitors are welcome (airport transfers can be arranged upon request). Your instructor Aaron Lock is one of New Zealand's most experienced Surf and Bodyboarding instructors. Lessons and coaching to all abilities of surfer & bodyboarder from Beginner to Advanced / Elite surfers. The basic Learn 2 Surf package is a two hour lesson designed to teach you the fundamentals of wave riding in the shortest time so you can spend less time 'kooking' it and more time 'ripping'. Surfboard and Wetsuit Hire is available as well as Surf Tours and Guiding.
