What an amazing day it was yesterday at the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro, with Gabriel Medina and Steph Gilmore taking out their respective divisions!
Tropical Cyclone Lusi is forecast to drop South toward New Zealand later this week, and at this stage is looking like it will generate some very solid NE/E swell! We will keep you updated on this.
Some more nice waves lining up for exposed West Coast spots this morning, with surf in the 4 foot range and a light offshore wind blowing early. Sea breezes are forecast later this arvo.
Not many waves for the far East coast spots today with just small 2 foot waves.
The Ripcurl Pro is on in Raglan this weekend! Former world tour surfer Taylor Knox will be competing in the event, so get there and check out the action.
