Its possible hes some sort of computer virus thats gained sentience, whch would explain the constant lack of common sense and logic and inability to produce any evidence of anything.

Statik's tactic is to drag the conversation down to a level which he's comfortable at, and since he doesn't seem to be able to understand the board building or design topics he chooses to go for anything of a personal or social nature.

2020, in my opinion you dont surf now, probably didnt very often when you did and undoubtedly didnt surf very well then or (if you actually went in the water) now.
this is not withstanding any opinions in the 'does 2020 surf' thread which may well have to be resurrected, dont say i didnt warn you, this thread isnt even up to half the posts on that yet.

No way I have time to read 600 threads and get myself up to speed, but I can add a couple of things based on what I have read:
1. No, Statik does not work at the warehouse. He works in the banking sector (respectable job for a reputable company, who would've thought it). He is also a DJ, hence his name.
2. 2020 is still a phony. He doesn't surf and has no place making any comments on here about any surfers. Vigilanty justice should be exercised.
3. Roy is crazy and should leave shaping to the pros. His boards are more "art" for the wall of the local cafe than they are "surfing machines" like those produced by MR and the like. Don't claim to be a guru - no one understands you, so that (by definition) makes you an artist, not a shaper.
Sorry for long periods of absence from the forums, new job at the moment, once I've settled in I might find more time...

Summary so far from Statik: "2020 doesnt surf".... "yes he does he's one of us!"....."no he doesn't and never did"..... "probably did but doesn't now, and probably wasn't any good when he did" (which btw is based on what?)
Your opinion old Boy seems to change when ever you are backed into a corner of your own makng....it currently seems a long, long, way, away from the emphatic "2020 doesn't surf."
I think you are learning a valuable lesson, which I am enjoying teaching you.

I do and there was a pic posted by 2020 of some suspect character hiding behind dark sunnies. The guy certainly looked to be a metro Porsche Cayenne driving type of dude so there is every chance it was 2020. I did try to track down that thread a while ago before we went to the new BB software but couldn't find it.
There also was an old surfco poster called 'Psycho' who knew 2020 from the triathlon days I think. And I also remember 2020 standing up for AI saying he could vouch for AI being a ripper so I would say 2020 has rubbed shoulders with a couple of BB members.
I also believe 2020 does surf, has surfed quite a bit in the past and intends on surfing in the future. Whether he surfs well or not is another story but I think thats totally irrelevant. Young kids can be a road block to beach time and I dunno about you other parents out there but family comes first.
