Is March a good time to surf Naki? Planning hols.
March is the best time anywhere in NZ.

Yeah, if they banned comps 99% of surfers wouldn't give a flying fuk.
If nobody gave a toss either way then they wouldnt bother spending extra money on going to the Naki, once people start getting uppity about this hit the pros suddenly want to surf it.

not sure about my first point. however once somebody makes out like they are Kam highway locals then no doubt the world wants to hit it

that contest at the mount. since you paddled out somewhere else they wondered maybe he is smarter. he is wearing a helmet. we should have our comp in the best conditions, he has them.

ah yes, well i don't wear a helmet when surfing..but yeah,
i thought they had their comp site sussed..was kinda rude really, seeing i was the only one on it.
anyway..everything worked out better than expected, i got the bombs and the barrels..and they got the left overs.
actually, after my sesh i probably should have gone and asked for my trophy.
