my old captains wife use to charge the big days at the island and solid days at pascuales which is like aramoana on roid's, she was smoking hot as well.

I surfed Matanchen bay with belinda bagg's and DP in september and she has a really graceful style and as 2020 said nice pins

what I feel sorry for is guys who go surfing and complain about it. Or guys who won't paddle out at all unless it's just so....

theres more than a few gromettes out at piha at the moment tearing it up, good turns lots of style, pretty agressive paddlers too. I think they are overcompensating as the young lads have much better water etiquette .
(this means when 50 year old black dude twice your size on a dawn patrol mission paddles out you dont paddle for any waves hes going for )

theres a couple of chicks on the tour that can do sick airs, that peruvian chick that won bells would rip any of us out of the water.... and a few of the 'piha locals'
seriously Krank, go to hawaii , paddle out at sunset and check the chicks taking off on 8ft foot bombs that would have you scurrying for the beach. Comparing top level womens surfing to mens is pointless, just like any other sport. guys have cojones for the risk taking (stupidity) factor and way better power to wieght ratio, so in any physically demanding sports they always will beat the ladies. If you havent seen a girl who surfs better than you do you dont get around much,

word stats.

That said, I've never understood why women are not so on it for airs. Speed, agility, balance etc - but theres few of them that are really any way awesome at it. Sure you need heaps of power for massive stuff but theres a bunch of technical airs out there that you don't need to be all muscle to do.

I don't really think this is what this forum is all about sorry mate. If you want just surf talk and no bantor you could try the surf2surf forum. If posts get abusive I'll start deleting them but this forum has always had a bit of the wild west about it and that in part is why its so active (and entertaining).

If it really bothers you could email matt@snow.co.nz

I hadnt watched it before i posted it up as i know chicks can surf but thought i would take a look and whaddaya know... theres some massive hacks, fins out all over the place, nice barrels, floaters the lot, you wouldnt see too many of the men going for airs in waves like that so comparably them chicks is tearing the bag out of it, got rocks in your head if you dont think so

She wasnt with dodgy old brent todd then so rumpo could have been on, but i dont think the mrs would have been up for a three way on the night, the other chap is AFL and underpant legend, Warwick Capper, famous for his allegedly mighty organ as well as his aussie rules prowess. some wag thought it would be funny to give him a willy water pistol to wave around, saving him from having to get his whanger out and prove or dispel the rumours.
