btw, shot 2^ is not a lid. that guy didn't do much of a bottom turn but got fully shacked all the way to end of that pic. very entertaining to watch.

Theres only a couple of places where the trough of the wave drops below sea level like that and how many of them are lefties? Anyhow Ive surfed that reef a couple of times little smaller than that and it was sick!!!

there is about 3 reefs that break below sea level not far from here J. 2 lefts and a right that i know off. one is almost exclusively left to the boogers because to be frank it's a freakish thing and i would think almost impossible to standup on. bc prob has a pic? another i'v yet to surf but usually have a peek at if i'm in the area is a mish to get too, 40min walk, 20min paddle out to sea. seen it absolutely cranking . guy i know surfed it, said it's covered in bull kelp, so any wipeouts have a fairly soft landing, and the ride is about 100mtrs of barreling madness..the main threat i see is whats lurking around. probably best surfed with 2 or 3 others.
