anyway, the cider was fricken epic. first tasting was raw, must been about 63% proof cus i finished one small glass and fell over. so the next evening i mixed 1/3rds cider, lemonade and orange juice and it was perfect.

I did a dawnie at Titahi Bay this morning, as you do. The rain got so intense that I had to come in. Basically I couldn't look out to sea.

Don't knock roller derby. I went to my first match last season in chch after being plagued by a friend. Best 10 bucks entertainment ever. We roared, we cried, we had a few cheap laughs.......

That's a negative on the fresh meat scene. As much as I admire these ladies, after a skate board wipe out a while back, I vowed all my future injuries would be strictly surf related.

Anyhow, I'll be styling something outrageous at the bout: maybe fiery tights or a feathered boa, or something small like funky eyelashes. Maybe we'll see ya there.

It's like the "quiet but deadly" ones to beware of. Those little girls make the best jammers (as long as they are fast). I saw two freshies that were skinny little bean poles last time and I'll be shocked if they are still around. Poor things got worked, but I'm sure their sisters taught them 1) how to take a fall and 2) how to take a hit straight away.
