...On the face of it Christchurch seems a nice enough place, but scratch below the surface and you discover that theres a massive redneck/ scu.m undercurrent.
Far more so that any other place I ve been in New Zealand- I am at a loss to understand why.

poms are hard to beat when it comes to comedy.
that clip reminds me of when i started work, i used to get sent down the road to pick up all sorts of rubbish, left handed screwdrivers, stripped paint etc. most of the time it fairly obvious i was being set up, except one time the boss sent to a shop where they made industrial scales, i was told to go ask for a 'long weight', never heard of one of them and i got there and said "i'm here for a 'long weight?'" and the old joker says 'okay, just wait over there for a bit' which i did, after about 20 mins he comes back out and says 'you can go now, you've waited long enough' lol.
