Round 3 of the Quiksilver Pro Snapper rocks was completed yesterday in nice overhead waves. With more favourable conditions forecast for today, the contest could run again, so check out http://www.quiksilverlive.com/progoldcoast/2013/ to catch all the action live.
Tropical Cyclone Lusi is forecast to drop South toward New Zealand later this week, and at this stage is looking like it will generate some very solid NE/E swell! We will keep you updated on this.
Some more nice waves lining up for exposed West Coast spots this morning, with surf in the 4 foot range and a light offshore wind blowing early. Sea breezes are forecast later this arvo.
Far East coast spots also have fun waves with surf in the 2-3 foot range and clean conditions early!
