Seriously expensive lessons thou, thats what put me off.

Looks like about $40K for a PPL, $90K for a CPL but then you need to get your hours up and that's about $500 an hour.
Do they still do interest free student loans?
Great fun job but I don't think the pay is all that flash, esp considering the investment involved for the privilege.

A year or so ago I had an introductory chopper lesson for an hour as well.... the instructor started handing me the controls one by one pretty much as soon as we took off....it was pretty cool, but I don't mind saying I was sh*tting myself as well, and I was glad to get back on the deck again. (and in some respects relieved that I didn't fall in love with it, and want to do more)

good read there toaster. Interestingly most psych illnesses are just a bunch of symptoms lumped together and given a name. There aren't necessarily any causal or connecting relationships involved.

Having myself been subject to the rigours of legitimate scientific research (physicists are like vultures and errors are their prey...) medical and especially psychiatric research is a joke from a scientific standpoint.

^ No idea

two to three feet and the whitewash explosions about four feet, nuggety snugglers to airbowls. Great for boogin, sh1t for standups.
The day before at west end was two maybe three foot east swell and unvertical walls that crumble ever so slightly and close out 80 percent of the time. Standups were loving it. makes me wonder what sort of topsy turvey world we live in.

call it karma blunt, u would have been 2 under if u paid
thats some good work though. I'll get there 1 day, although i think my local club with a slope of 126 would give u a challenge. My driver went good for 3 rounds, 250m plus and finding fairways. Now im back to finding the wrong fairways

I think the slope at Marty is around 115. I played a couple of Canty courses and they are a step up for sure. But I cut my teeth at Manor Park which is long and narrow and generally play pretty well on tough courses.

But yeah you could be right about the Karma thing

Nice!

Last night was still as and after 2 days of rain the fairways weren't too firey so was set up for good scoring.

Don't fret it Pone. Looking at the cams it would be pus anyway unless you know where to look. And thankfully they don't mention ***** or *** or ******* on the reports

Why do first time mums bring their new babies in to work so all the other b1tches can goo and gaa over them? They take them round the office with that 'do you want to hold my precious baby for a minute' look in their eyes. I spose its been a while since I felt the euphoria of having a new born kid but I never did that. Its an office FFS, get that kid away from my laptop before it spews on my keyboard!

They shouldn't spew if the mother is eating correctly, so cheer up, and think of the poor baby having to clap eyes on you after only a few days in the world. It could put the child off laptops permanently

I dared to tell a non surfing 'moderator' ( he has never ridden a board ever, but built two ) from Portugal that he knows nothing about surfboard flex.
