Traditional belief based on scriptural details and astrological calculations gives Krishna's birth date (Janmashtami) as 19th or 21st July 3228 BC. Krishna was of the royal family of Mathura, and was the eighth son born to the princess Devaki, and her husband Vasudeva.

The myths and legends of Mithra are numerous in amount and span several different cultures. I ran into a brick wall of sorts trying to track down any of this information. I cannot find any evidence of his "birthday" being December 25th, the only dates that correspond to him are his festival on October 8th and another on September 12-16th, and a cattle pairing festival October 12-16

And end of day with the Jesus link Quoting cause i cant be ar5ed putting in my own words aha

While this is generally true, a problem arises with Jesus' birthday. The fact is that December 25th was set as his birthday by the later Roman Catholic church, around 300 years after Jesus' death, with the intent of putting it on a pagan holiday. Before that it was generally celebrated January 6th . In the Bible, it describes Jesus' birth actually taking place in the late spring or early summer, because of the shepherds in the fields .

I 'll have check it over the weekend.

yeh well Jabes that s a bit of the point i was trying to make how much of the christian world actually believes christs birthday was on the 25 th majority right ?

I 'll have to check those dates maybe i have been too presumptious in taking that word for it, i took it, because of the similarities in virgin birth.

I can 't do a hell of a lot at the moment as my lappie has had a coronary. But i was checking some stuff this afternoon on this "son of god thing " which was hard to follow in the film ( and i 'll check that debunk link again) but it was mithras who was called sun of " . . . . . . " ( some difficult ancient name) Who was the father OF mithras. And who was the god ( if i 'm right ) of the universe. Do you see the thing here.

Sun and son of god are basically the same thing here.
Any way it 's late and i need to sleep.

Found 4 dates in 10 min cos it's such an important puzzle to solve
;
March 2nd 5 BC at 9:14 am
or
a remarkable conjunction of sun, moon, and the five then-known planets in Aries in the spring of 6 B.C., which would explain the key points of Matthew's story, and puts Jesus' birth at April 17, 6 B.C
and
A better candidate is the 70+ day supernova observed by Chinese astronomers of the Han Dynasty in 5 B.C., yet we can’t be certain that this same star was seen in the region of Galilee.
