DB, I apologise for quite possibly the worst surf report imaginable. What was sh1tehouse conditions turned into clean peaks and then morphed into a perfect clean chest high, glassy evening with an orange sky and probably some of the better logging conditions i have seen in some time. I fished it and had a heap of wee beauties. Sorry bro
Bugger.. I spotted that on my way home from taking my lad to footy training!
Looked nice too DS!

A golfer is in hospital after a round he will never forget.
The 66-year-old Chinese man was playing at Howick Golf Course, near Bucklands Beach in Auckland, yesterday when he went looking for his ball and fell down a 30m cliff, The New Zealand Herald reported.

That looks feepin weepingly good DS, bout my size too. Can't guess. Carefully framed?
Bit of wind slop tonight, keep blowing b1tch.
What's the call for the AM, locals? I'm trying to decide if it's worth risking a pass on?
The place you have avoided for summer. High tide at 10:30 and windswell all night. That be my pick - what time you going - i'm gonna run for a looksee
Heres a nice spot. Not in Ch tho. Mechanical.
I'd have to go at 7am on the low-mid incoming if at all...

Depends. My personal definitions:
1ft knee-waist
2ft chest-shoulder
3ft head
4ft head and half
5ft pushing double
6ft solid double

i think us chch surfers could throw you around to easily.
i agree with that break down...but having a look at the chch outlook i find it hard to believe itd be anywhere near head high for you guys this weekend. unless you mean right up north? its reading at like 1m shoreline @ 9 sec. id say thatd be more like a weak waist high surf.
piha tmo is reading 2.5m @ 16 sec. thats more like solid 4ft

Geeze wouldn't 16sec period be nice!?
Marineweather and Swellmap don't usually agree, and to be honest both algorithms are pretty crap at predicting wrap around the peninsula into the northern beachies.
http://www.swellmap.com/reg_forecasts.php?tag=WaB#anchor [swellmap.com] I'm looking at that one there, and if it eventuates, I know a place where that could stand up quite nicely on the low tide.
