It is a pic of a original 74 Keesbruin painting that lives at club bazzar,the dogs.I seen it the other day and remembered it when it hung in the old cabin ,pinball and pool hall across the road from cave rock now knowen as the ice cream something? ,I first laid eyes on it when I was 11 years old the house in the pic is still on the esplanade .
Wow, Kees Bruin's style has evolved heaps since! His art completely blows my mind. I've heard him speak once, and the story behind some of his art is quite sad. If I had the money to hang his art on my wall, I'd get nothing done - I'd just sit and stare at it all day.

Jelly that looks nice, were they make-able or were they mostly too fast? I have to say your camera is particularly sht though bro, well either that or you're ADHD and can't stand still long enough to snap the shutter ... You need to spend feck all on a new one that would be a million times better, you're always snapping excellent waves, but blurry as.
Banks are a bit rooted at Kooks at present I have to say. Lots of little tunnel-visions, but only made it out of one. And COLD! 3 waves on the scone and it necessitates a scream out loud, even with no-one to hear, just to release the pain... The puddles were frozen still when I got out at 2.05pm...
Shi7 cam ,shi7 photo taker,have croped most to try and hide the waves where abouts,and yes make-able the pic above..he got spat right out no shi7 db, just heavy shi7.I seen a guy at the art center today that looked just like your avatar pic.

By 'like my avatar', do you mean looks like me, or just with children hanging off him I wan't at the Arts Centre today, was just enjoying the sunshine mostly milling round at home and playing with the kids, my 3yo helped me do a change and filter on the Leone .

It jacks to quick for the log you could try,it would be classic to see, at least you would be able to fit it in the car on the way home,thats a solid 3ft wave.
that was a set wave about 5ft and about 4ft wide.

Kooks was about 2ft or so, fun size, not too consequential for a frozen day. Heaps of fun, but banks are shthouse. Would have been better if it was peaky rather than lined up. WB would have been the cat's pajamas I reckon. Couldn't possibly have been any colder than kooks either.
Looking sizey later in the week alright. We're packin the Leone for a trip to central on Friday, but it will be sans boards this time, a family and kids trip. Lookin forward to it heaps, love goin... uh, down south...

Last snow in Mackenzie was reported 24th June and its still white as all through Tekapo - it must have been seriously cold there recently as there has been plenty of snow but it just hasnt melted.
