yea figured heard on big swells theres a beachie on the far side near daimond harbour le bons and raupo are a bit far for half day mish

Snow to 200 later they say!! Not enough flooding out our ways yet. The wee river that runs past my house is a pretty good indicator of lowland levels, so if it rises significantly, the hunt is on on Sat or Sun.
Good luck with Porters Pass!! Would be good to click in again, but not yet for me.

Checked sumner and taylors about 3.30 taylors was as screwed up as bc and sumner was a joke like 2020.

Had a look at North Brights an hour ago, would be a long paddle (but do-able) and a blind takeoff, but weepingly clean and hollow on peeling banks. Big sets breaking 200m out pushing 5ft, but it looks like there is no drift!! I can't get on it till the weekend though.
turned direct southerly in the last coupla hrs. farken freezing. stoke the fires kids, it's gunna be a cold few days ahead.

Yar that wind is strong aye. I'm sick as a pike so staying dry. I have been to Taylors twice though for a look! Turn of the tide has taken a lot out of scarborough but its still pretty clean. I'm not worried though - looks like lots more of this in the next week.

i turned my back on it and opted for the chicken casserole that has been on slow n low all day

Yeah Jelly...usual for me. Was pretty damn nice too out there! Decent size and fairly solid... A certain 'spot X' looked as busy as Piccadilly Circus tho' at low tide! but looked like some nice ones were caught !

Hey BP... Didn't watch the game but good on the All Whites for whoopin' the Serbs! Shame they lost to the Aussies to be honest as 1-1 would have been great for their confidence etc... Oh well! ...Not long now! :-)
