Where did you go stat? I couldn't make it out to the coast yesterday but I'm not that gutted to be honest - sick of this pattern of onshores, then only 1 day of offshores.

the 'deep south' is always warmer than the 'dirty south'
Glad your having fun enjoy your trip home

Dunners is average and cold even in summer
lot better at piha and raglan anyday

your brother is just enjoying the great Drugs we bring in from Gore

Tell mum and Dad to get him back home and perform an intervention As Soon As Possible

Otherwise he could be slipping towards Invergiggle before you can say "Shallow Gene Pool"

Maz Quinn said Dunedin has the best waves too but just too cold.

Allans is pretty much never flat. If it's one foot in town it'll be two to three up there.

Houghton Bay (Wgtn) last night. 3-4ft, rip running through it, pretty bumpy from the westerly blowing past, interesting shaped bar there at the moment

Mr Statik - Wellington ("SE Coast") has had swell all week, but is usually super windy cross-offshore (from the west) and hasn't been that big yet. Wind has dropped off earlier than expected today though...

Thanks for that Spud. I'll be out there later. Although the ECAN buoy is now recording significant wave height at 6m and timing heading up towards 10sec. I think the island will be closing out although there might be something catchable on the inside corner.

Hmm the dirty south i like the sound of that. anyway id agree dunedin piha and raglan are all great waves. However those of us with hair on our testies mite supplement them with man versions White Rock, The Spit, and ngapotoki (seconds) which by the way if your goofie and it`ts 6ft plus is freaking insane.I highly recommend if your on the verge of puberty and you want rapid hair growth head to the rappa.
