Modern Collective Premier was on Wednesday night at a hip Auckland club, some how I managed to find my way there, what was in store.. was it just another over hyped, over produced, surf flick!

The Modern Collective, if you haven't heard, is a surf movie produced by young Australian Kai Neville. It feature's some of surfing new young elite, Jordy Smith, Dane Reynolds, Dusty Payne, Yadin Nicol, Dion Agius, Mitch Coleborn.

Anyway they've been working away producing this long awaited film, posting taster clips, photos and blogs about it the whole time! So theres been a lot of hype surrounding the final completed cut! And well hell it seems to me like its lived up to its expectations!
