Daisy in Morocco

As I write I drift back to the moment inspiration overcame me, to travel to the African country Morocco. After seeing Moroccos culture and beauty in a film a few years back now I had decided then and there I wanted to visit this place now the dream lives, 6 months of soaking in the culture and experiencing what the rugged coastline has on offer. Being the summer months here in Morocco the surf is not at it's peak, never the less the longboard has been getting a great run and the beauty of the sunset sessions have made up for any lack of swell.

Winding Up

The first two events on my agenda have passed quickly, like 2009 2010 is already moving along at a quick pace. We welcomed the New Year, had the festive season and then cranked back into the competitive season for surfing with a fresh out look.

Daisy in Costa Rica

Surfco's Daisy Thomas is part of The Quiksilver New Zealand Surfing Team at the 2009 Billabong ISA World Surfing Games. The eight person team hit the water this Sunday against 30 nations from around the world. Keep an eye out for daily press releases from Surfing New Zealand as we follow Jay Quinn, Gauranga Ormond, Luke Hughes, Matt Hewitt, Daisy Thomas, Laura Rishworth, Daniel Proctor and Thomas Kibblewhite take on the world!
